The gopuram symbolizes a spiritual apex where the individual attempt to reach the spiritual heights with their efforts and sacrifices.

Veethi

Inner structure

The inner structure is the small house where the idol is placed, it is then topped by a tower. Only the pujarrs are allowed in the main sanctum of the temple.

The inner structure symbolizes the birth place of the universe. It is also place to where the human can meet the gods making it an edge between the transcendental and phenomenal worlds.
